Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies, managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to meet the organization's needs.
- Managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, prices, and timelines.
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases, including supplier databases and purchase documentation.
- Collaborating with inventory control teams to determine and manage inventory needs.
- Ensuring that all procured items meet quality standards and specifications.
- Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing procurement strategies.
