Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to manage our financial records, accounts payable and receivable, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

About the Role

  • Maintain accurate accounting records, including inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Process purchase orders, bills, vendor credits, and reconcile vendor accounts
  • Prepare estimates, invoices, credit memos, and reconcile customer accounts
  • Calculate, report, and remit sales taxes and royalties
  • Perform general accrual accounting tasks
  • Monitor financial stability by tracking budgets and cash flow
  • Prepare and send year-end tax documents to vendors and accountants
  • Generate periodic financial reports as assigned
  • Perform journal entries as needed

Requirements

  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online
  • Experience with Google Suite, Teamwork.com, Adobe Acrobat Sign, Inventory management tools (SKU Vault), and Shipstation
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English
