About the Job

We're looking for a skilled Building Services Design Specialist with 4 to 5 years of experience to join our in-house design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed building services drawings and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) using Autocad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate building services layout drawings using Autodesk Revit, covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and low-voltage systems.
  • Collaborate with architectural and structural teams for clash detection and coordination.
  • Prepare BOQs for building services aligned with design and execution requirements.
  • Support tendering and vendor alignment processes with technical documentation.
  • Revise and update models and drawings based on feedback and site conditions.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings with vendors and consultants to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and support procurement processes by providing detailed schedules.
  • Site visits may be required for design validation and building services inspections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
  • 4–5 years of relevant hands-on experience with Revit MEP in commercial/office space projects.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for BIM coordination.
  • Strong understanding of building services codes and industry standards.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
