As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how people and businesses engage with and benefit from AI in the future.

You'll explore and apply advanced GenAI techniques, including large language models (LLMs) and Agentic AI, to solve complex challenges across the organization.

Job Description

You will lead project execution by managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, leveraging your technical expertise.

  • Write high-quality, well-tested code in Python and Golang to address critical product and business needs.
  • Architect scalable, secure systems using modern cloud technologies and industry best practices.
  • Mentor team members on design principles, coding standards, and AI productivity tools adoption.
  • Debug complex technical issues to enhance system reliability, scalability, and ease of operation.
  • Review and ensure the security, scalability, and architectural integrity of feature designs across teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Proven expertise in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services, with a strong understanding of micro-services architecture.
  • Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.
  • Deep understanding of what high-quality code and software engineering processes look like, and the ability to foster an environment that promotes them.
  • Strong technical skills in system design and coding.
  • Passion for building an open financial system that unites the world.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have

The following qualities would be beneficial:

  • Experience navigating rapid company growth.
  • Familiarity with GenAI frameworks/tools, Python, GoLang, Docker, Postgres, MongoDB.
  • Background in AI/LLM infrastructure is a plus.
