Transforming underwriting expertise into accessible knowledge is at the heart of this role.

You will distill complex underwriting know-how into comprehensive training materials, playbooks, and quality standards that empower community reviewers to excel in their tasks. Your goal is to make retail/home-loan underwriting fundamentals easily understandable for non-specialists while ensuring AI model responses are accurate and reliable.

This position involves:

  • Breaking down underwriting concepts: FOIR/DTI, LTV, income stability, bureau interpretation, documentation hygiene, fraud red flags, policy exceptions.
    • Training anchors to curate AI outputs: reviewing model responses/rationales, applying rules, correcting decisions, adding reason codes, and documenting edge cases.
      • Designing modular curricula & SOPs: bite-sized modules (30–60 min) with examples, quizzes, checklists, and local-language handouts.
        • Crafting quality rubrics: acceptance criteria, pass/fail checklists, quick-fix macros, escalation rules, and calibration guidelines.
          • Determining data needs from cases: capturing missing rules/thresholds; drafting data-needs specs for synthetic data generation.
            • Advocating ethics & privacy: ensuring PII handling, fairness, and compliant decision rationales in training and review workflows.

Qualification

  • 4–8 years in retail/home-loan underwriting (banks/NBFC/MFI) with hands-on decisioning and policy interpretation.
    • Proven training or mentorship experience—comfortable teaching beginners and non-technical learners.
      • Strong grasp of calculations & documents: FOIR/DTI/LTV/EMI, income proofs, bank statements, credit bureau reports.
        • Fluent in English & Telugu
