Financial Planning and Analysis Expert

This role requires a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis expert who will play a critical part in supporting the company's financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities. The ideal candidate will partner closely with senior leadership to provide actionable insights that inform key business decisions.

  • Financial Planning & Forecasting
    • Assist in the preparation of annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial projections by building, updating, and maintaining advanced financial models to evaluate business performance, identify variances, and highlight risks/opportunities.
    • Provide detailed revenue, expense, and margin analysis to support business unit and corporate-level planning initiatives.
  • Reporting & Performance Management
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, including dashboards and KPI tracking, by consolidating financial results, analyzing variances against budget/forecast, and providing commentary for senior leadership reviews.
    • Support the preparation of board-level and executive presentations with financial and operational insights.
  • Business Partnering & Analysis
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and conduct ad hoc analysis on pricing, costs, profitability, and ROI for strategic projects.
    • Provide actionable insights to business partners to drive operational efficiency and margin improvement.
  • Process & Tools Enhancement
    • Support continuous improvement of FP&A processes, templates, and reporting tools by identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing system and tool upgrades.
    • Maintain and improve data quality, ensuring integrity and consistency across planning systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analysis.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced) and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
