Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Data Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team.

This is a senior-level data engineering position that requires expertise in analytic data warehouse technologies, including Snowflake (knowledge of Snowflake Cortex is a plus) and Databricks SQL. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in ETL tools such as SSIS and knowledge with big data frameworks like Cloudera.

The successful candidate will have advanced skills in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. They will also have proficiency in PySpark for data processing and transformation, as well as experience with various databases and file formats, including MS SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, AWS S3, JSON, CSV, XML, and Excel.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate will have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. A solid understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS, is also required. Experience with version control systems like GitHub and SVN, familiarity with ticket tracking systems like Jira, and experience with development environments such as Visual Studio and SSMS are also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of building and managing data solutions.
