We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to help us implement a cutting-edge data platform for a large retailer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable big data solutions using Python, Pyspark, and SQL.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering solutions into existing systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in big data engineering with expertise in Python, Pyspark, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of IoT systems, especially in refrigeration units, HVAC systems, controllers, and sensors.
- Familiarity with equipment and systems from Emerson, Honeywell, or similar.
- Ability to explain how data flows through IoT units and how sensors are designed and monitored.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with telemetry, streaming analytics, and data processing.
