Job Role - Factory Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead daily operations at a manufacturing facility. Ideal candidates have a background in machinery manufacturing or similar industries and must demonstrate career longevity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of factory operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and productivity.
  • Development of production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet output targets on time and within budget.
  • Leadership, training, and supervision of production staff across all facility departments.
  • Conduct of periodic inspections to monitor staff performance, machinery condition, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaboration with quality control teams to enforce quality assurance protocols and continuously improve product standards.
  • Maintenance of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal working condition and minimize downtime.
  • Implementation and monitoring of safety policies, ensuring compliance with statutory and industry regulations.
  • Coordination with internal teams for raw material supply, logistics, and timely delivery of finished goods.
  • Preparation and presentation of regular production performance reports to senior management.
  • Fostering a positive, productive work environment and active resolution of operational issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years managerial experience in a factory setting; background in machinery, metal products, or similar manufacturing highly desired.
  • Demonstrable career stability and progression in past roles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of production management, maintenance protocols, quality standards, and safety systems.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, production management software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process optimization methodologies preferred.

Prior Experience:

  • A history of long-term employment and professional advancement in previous roles.
  • Ability to mentor and build high-performing teams in a factory environment.
