Business Advisory Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Advisory professional to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Controls department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our governance, risk management, and audit operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Serving as a critical member of our Internal Controls team to ensure that our processes align with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.
- Performing risk analysis across various business functions, including Supply Chain, Marketing, Seller and customer experience, and Technology.
- Leading and implementing initiatives to create process efficiencies and mitigate risks.
- Liaising with external auditors, legal, and compliance teams as needed.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field or as a Chartered Accountant.
- Strong first principles thinking and business understanding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and a proven track record of success in identifying and mitigating risks. You will be responsible for creating an efficient system to track and monitor emerging risks, particularly in areas such as data privacy, cyber security, ESG, and regulatory Compliance.
You will work closely with functional heads to maintain risk registers and support mitigation plans. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on our organization's risk management strategy.
