We are seeking a seasoned cloud infrastructure support engineer to join our team.

As a member of our HCL Cloud Product team, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud architecture/infrastructure
  • Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures
  • Select the appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements

You will have expertise in networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, Active Directory, and firewalls) and knowledge of writing infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, JSON, YAML or Terraform. Additionally, you will have hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet/Chef.

Requirements:Skills:
  • Proficiency in any Public Cloud with Core Infrastructure Services for AWS, Microsoft Azure Services, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience hosting an application on GCP using Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage
  • Networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, Load Balancer, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN
  • Advance level hands on knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, Route 53/DNS, Clustering (EKS and ECS), Log Management and IAM
  • Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of Azure Compute Instances, Azure Storage, Azure Backup, VNet, Subnets, NSG/ASG, IAM, Azure RBAC, SSL, Traffic Manager, Azure DNS, and Load balancers
  • Advanced hands on GCP Compute, Cloud Storage, GCP IAM, SSL Certs
  • Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Policies & Roles, SSL, KMS, etc.)
Education:
  • Btech/BE in Computer Science or related technical field or proof of exceptional skills in related fields with practical software engineering experience

You should have strong notions of security best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate IT concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences. Additionally, you must have extensive experience with at least one operating system: Linux, Ubuntu, Windows.
