Software Licensing Expert

We are seeking a skilled Software Licensing Expert to join our team.

  • Work on engagements around software license compliance reviews, including asset identification, data collection, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Help clients identify their position on license compliance across various software publishers.
  • Assist clients in addressing challenges related to software licensing by identifying solutions for reducing compliance exposure.
  • Optimize costs and achieve overall IT maturity for clients.
  • Perform assessments of existing software asset management processes and identify improvement areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in consulting.
  • Relevant certifications a plus.
  • Working knowledge of licensing for software publishers like Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, VMware, and Autodesk.
  • Understanding of the software asset management process as per ISO 19770.
  • Familiarity with SAM tools like Flexera, Snow, OpenAudIT, and ServiceNow.
  • Scripting skills in Bash, VBScript, PowerShell, and other languages.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills using SQL, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
