Job Title: License Compliance Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to lead the governance of IT assets and licensing compliance while also managing governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to retirement
  • Maintain accurate inventories for hardware and software using IT asset management tools
  • Define and enforce asset tracking standards and policies
  • Optimize asset usage and reduce costs through efficient deployment and redeployment strategies
  • Ensure adherence to software licensing agreements and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular audits and true-ups for major software vendors
  • Track software usage and entitlements to prevent overuse or underutilization
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards on asset utilization, compliance status, and cost optimization
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for IT asset management and ensure alignment with global governance standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification
  • Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) certification
  • Microsoft Licensing Specialist Certification
  • Strong analytical and audit skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Policy writing and enforcement expertise
  • Risk identification and mitigation capabilities
  • Attention to detail with a process-driven mindset

Experience:

  • 8-12 years of experience in IT asset management, software compliance, and IT GRC
  • Strong understanding of global compliance frameworks
  • Expertise in tools such as ManageEngine, Flexera, Lansweeper, or SCCM
  • Demonstrated experience in licensing audits and compliance management
