Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our Cyber Innovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, innovation, and leadership.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic innovation, simulating real-world cybersecurity challenges, and accelerating the development and testing of emerging solutions to future-proof our organization's digital and cyber capabilities.

The role requires a deep understanding of various cybersecurity domains, futuristic technologies, emerging trends, and disruptive technologies.

The incumbent will develop and implement an innovation strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an innovation strategy that drives business growth and improvement
  • Lead the design and establishment of an innovation lab with state-of-the-art facilities
  • Establish a framework for research and innovation activities, including infrastructure enablement, operational models, and outcome measurement
  • Drive strategic relationships for implementation and operations of the lab
  • Maintain operational excellence by ensuring efficient resource allocation and project management practices
  • Monitor and report on research initiatives and innovation projects
  • Manage the lab's resources effectively
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and methodologies into existing frameworks
  • Promote the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept demonstrations

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution; or Master's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
  • 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, innovation, and leadership roles
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and implementing new technologies
  • Strong technical background with expertise in cloud computing, networking, and programming languages relevant to cybersecurity
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
