Job Description:

Mechanical, Engineering and Plumbing (MEP) Project Manager

As the go-to person for all MEP/CIVIL matters, you will manage activities related to mechanical, engineering and plumbing planning, designing, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning. Your task is to fully understand clients' MEP/CIVIL requirements and ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop big ideas that spark effective project management and successful execution of all phases from initiating to closing.
  • Carefully identify and note clients' needs and determine the scope of work and expected outcome.
  • Manage company resources used in projects, allocate them to complete projects within budget and help clients organize and analyze tender and procurement for contractors and suppliers.
  • Represent clients from project initiation to completion and produce high-performing teams that drive successful project execution.
  • Identify potential risks in the MEP/CIVIL field and report them to the Project Manager, designing risk management and solution provision to keep health and safety issues at bay.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education and Experience: A degree in MEP/CIVIL engineering-related discipline or related field, with five years of combined educational and work experience in construction site management.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with HVAC, electrical engineering, BMS and knowledge of security systems, AV systems and IT systems.

Business Acumen: Understanding of business well enough to communicate effectively with clients, negotiate contracts and contribute to market analysis.

Leadership: Ability to create a proactive working environment that motivates employees, encourages good relationships with clients and communicates effectively with team members.
