Job Title: Desktop Admin

This role is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of hardware, software, and network applications. The successful candidate will participate in various roles of the system's development life cycle, including developing and maintaining software applications, technical services, data security.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software applications, debug, design, code, test, write specifications, roll-out software, production support.
  • Technical services, software, hardware, network architecture design and maintenance, data security.
  • Support engineering and automation, coding based on design and plan provided, implementation.
  • Maintain inventory records, hardware assignments with asset management system.
  • Monitor hardware, software systems to ensure established service level agreements met.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years industry experience as desktop admin, end user support, installation, configuration, troubleshooting.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • MS Office proficiency, novice knowledge of company software architecture methodology.
  • Technical skills include UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cobol, Java, MS SQL, C, C++, Informix, Greenplum, Hadoop, ATG, QT4, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2 SQL, JCL, CSP, CICS, TCP/IP, Networking, LAN administration.
