    We are seeking a dedicated software engineer to collaborate with our project teams in developing innovative solutions that ensure the safe and efficient operation of aeroderivative gas turbine engines.

    In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, coding, testing, and deploying software for critical aspects of the turbine's control system.

  • Design and implement software solutions for turbine control systems">
  • Conduct detailed testing and deployment of software applications">
  • Drive the product roadmap by proposing innovative solutions that improve customer operations">
  • Supply to projects that craft the future of energy">
  • Handle obsolescence for our existing fleet to ensure customer satisfaction">
  • Develop solutions that expand our product portfolio">

    You will work collaboratively with multiple collaborators to deliver solutions to both new and existing customers.

">Requirements">
  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, control, aerospace, mechanical or instrumentation engineering with a proven understanding of gas turbine technology and engine operation">
  • 5-10 years of validated experience in developing software solutions, including proficiency in text-based programming languages, such as C, C++, and practical experience with PLC software and hardware interfaces, e.g., communication protocols and I/O modules">
  • Familiarity with scripting tools, e.g., Visual Basic, Python, systems engineering techniques, e.g., QFD, VV, RCA, risk analysis, and experience in designing and testing HMI screens for monitoring and control">
  • Algorithm development, implementation, verification, and validation experience using Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs is an asset">

    They must possess a high level of autonomy, a commitment to collaborator management, and a passion for personal development and continuous improvement, while adhering to lean methodology and a minimum viable product approach.

    Strong communication and time management skills, fluency in English, and availability to travel to Canada for 1-2 months yearly, with experience in technical project management, gated design processes, and SCRUM teams being an asset.
