Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing electrical simulation models and maintaining performance standards.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and optimizing electrical simulation models using tools such as Matlab Simulink, Dig Silent PF, PSCAD, and PSS E. You will also conduct various simulation studies with a focus on transient stability and harmonic studies, parametrize wind turbine simulation models, and maintain the wind turbine parameter database.

Benchmarking and validating developed simulation models to ensure accuracy and reliability is also a key aspect of this role. Additionally, you will implement wind turbine functions and features into the simulation model platform and investigate and analyze wind turbine functions and features in relation to connected grid systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in model development of electrical simulation models and electrical simulation.
  • An educational background in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 Years Mandate in PSCAD.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in Matlab Simulink, Dig Silent PF, PSCAD, and PSS E.
  • Experience in conducting simulation studies, particularly transient stability and harmonic studies.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
