We are seeking a skilled Electrical Power Systems Specialist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working on various projects, including wind farms, offshore wind farms, and solar plants.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and review engineering work within a discipline on a project or assignment in a global business unit.
  • Supervise the day-to-day technical work of discipline engineers, specialists, designers, and drafters.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports in accordance with approved procedures and hold career development discussions.

The successful candidate will possess a recognized degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in FEED, proposal, detailed engineering preferably in an EPC industry for Wind Farms, Offshore wind farms, Solar and other renewable plants.

They should have executed projects in an engineering office or consultancy of repute and have hands-on experience of electrical system study tool DigSilent Power Factory, System Studies, Load Flow, Short Circuit, Harmonic Analysis, Transient Stability Studies, voltage drop calculations, single line diagram, protection, metering diagrams, relay setting, protection coordination of the system, Insulation Coordination and EMT studies using PSCAD.

Knowledge of international codes and standards is essential, as well as experience of equipment sizing, specifications, MR preparation, technical bid evaluation, and vendor print reviews of various electrical equipment like Transformers, Busducts, MV, LV Switchgear, MCCs, power distribution transformers, DC systems, UPS, Cables, lighting fixtures.

Requirements:
  • Recognized degree in electrical engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
