Tender Executive Job Description

The role of the Tender Executive is pivotal in managing the GeM Portal, overseeing e-tendering processes, and responding to RFPs/RFQs. This position demands strong organizational skills, effective communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as Hindi language.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage GeM Portal by creating categories, uploading products, and conducting tenders.
  • Handle e-tendering and respond to RFPs/RFQs from various portals.
Tender Preparation & Submission:
  • Prepare and submit bids, bank guarantees, FDRs, and DDs in accordance with tender requirements.
  • Clarify bid conditions and ensure alignment with company expectations.
  • Analyze tender documents, prepare comparative statements, and attend pre-bid meetings.
Vendor Registration & Coordination:
  • Liaise with government departments for vendor registrations, approvals, and renewals.
  • Follow up with vendors for timely deliveries and quotations.
Administrative Support:
  • Prepare drawings using Coral Draw/Photoshop.
  • Manage filing, calls, and administrative tasks (salary/attendance registers).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, and communication in English and Hindi.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience with e-procurement and tendering.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
  • Experience liaising with government bodies is an advantage.
