Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Analytics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Global Commercial Pharma Pipeline Analytics group, you will be responsible for developing and delivering data-driven insights to inform pharma pipeline investments and business decisions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Global Commercial Pipeline Analytics: Develop commercial insights solutions, business cases, and market evaluations to support decision-making for the pharma pipeline and business development, utilizing deep data-driven analytics.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global marketing teams, operations, and clinical teams to inform strategic reviews and increase commercial rigor through all phases of pipeline asset development.
  • Communication and Transparency: Provide global marketing teams and governance committees with transparency and commercial insights on pipeline portfolio topics related to market dynamics, competitive insights, patient journeys, access considerations, and more.
  • Analytics and Benchmarking: Lead benchmarking analytics to collect, analyze, and translate insights into recommended business actions to inform pipeline development choices. Provide critical insights to leaders for communication on human health portfolio, early pipeline commercial forecasts, and related business drivers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or business-related field.
  • At least 3 years of overall experience and 2 years of relevant experience in marketing, clinical development, commercial/advanced analytics, asset portfolio management, strategic planning, insights syndication, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the ability to find and execute solutions to complex or ambiguous business problems.
  • Experience conducting secondary data analytics on large datasets using relevant skills such as Excel VBA, Python, SQL.
  • A deep understanding and hands-on exposure to pharma commercial data ecosystems, including epidemiology datasets, biomarker data, commercialization, and real-world datasets.
  • Experience envisioning, architecting, and developing data-driven tools/dashboards using visualization tools such as PowerBI.
  • Exposure to building patient analytics and patient journeys from commercial and real-world datasets.
Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome candidates with:

  • Experience in healthcare data, insights, and analytics.
  • Experience in the Life Science or consulting industry.
  • An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PharmD, PhD) is preferred.
  • Therapeutic area experience in infectious diseases/HIV, immunology, cardio-metabolic, and/or ophthalmology diseases is preferred.
  • Global experience is preferred.
