Medical Affairs Leader

The Medical Affairs leader will lead the medical affairs strategy, focusing on providing robust support and facilitating collaboration between teams. This role will encompass developing materials, training programs, and evaluation of products, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide references and data to support product positioning and research.
  2. Support marketing efforts with regular inputs and strategic advice on promotional activities.
  3. Prepare comprehensive product manuals and training slides to enhance understanding and communication of product benefits.
  4. Develop Continuing Education (CE) materials to support ongoing education initiatives.
  5. Evaluate new product ideas and presentations, providing insights and recommendations.
  6. Conduct medical training sessions for field staff.
  7. Actively participate in clinical studies to gather relevant data and insights.
  8. Conduct evaluations of competitors' new products and strategies, providing analysis to inform company positioning.
  9. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging science to provide insights that drive strategic decisions.
  10. Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to enhance scientific communication and brand credibility.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Advanced degree in life sciences.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years in medical affairs or related fields.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, clinical development processes, and therapeutic landscape.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess data and inform strategic decisions.
