Senior Medical Content Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled content specialist to review, edit and ensure the quality and accuracy of medical and scientific documents.

The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to produce clear, consistent and compliant content for publication or regulatory submission.

  • Editing medical writing deliverables including research articles, review articles, case reports, editorials, perspectives and more.
  • Ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance in all edited content.

Key responsibilities include:

Content Development
  • Developing and editing a wide range of medical and scientific content including research articles, review articles, case reports, editorials, perspectives and more.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective content strategies.

Responsibilities also include reviewing statistical analysis plans and table/figure/listing specifications for appropriate content, grammar, format and consistency.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Life Sciences/Pharmacy (B.Sc./M.Sc./MBBS) or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in medical and/or scientific editing within the pharmaceutical industry.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Literature searches using tools such as NCBI, Cochrane and EMBASE.
  • Systematic review tools like EndNote, ZOTERO, Mendeley, Covidence, Rayyan and DistillerSR.
  • Excellent project management skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
