Job Description:

Our organization is currently looking for a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to lead our engineering team in designing high-quality pressure control equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of API 6A standards and experience with surface pressure control equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading design reviews, collaborating cross-functionally with various teams, and mentoring junior engineers. They'll also contribute to the development of internal engineering standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop pressure control equipment per API 6A standards.
  • Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools.
  • Conduct FEA and other mechanical calculations to validate designs.
  • Ensure compliance with API 6A, ASME, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, sales, and supply chain teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required); Master's preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering in the oil & gas industry.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with API 6A product design and certification processes.
  • Proficiency in INVENTOR, VAULT, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and engineering analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, API 6A, and API Q1 standards.
