Jira Administrator Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Jira Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for administering and optimizing Jira/Confluence environments, defining standards, workflows, dashboards, and reports across projects.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and hands-on experience in managing multiple projects and release trains in Jira. You will work closely with teams working in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment to set Jira standards, workflows, and integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and Optimize Jira/Confluence Environments:
  • Define Standards, Workflows, Dashboards, and Reports Across Projects:
  • Support Agile Release Trains and Scrum of Scrums, Including PI Planning Boards:
  • Integrate Jira with Tools Like GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD Pipelines:
  • Provide Coaching, Training, and Reports for Stakeholders and Leadership:
  • Ensure Platform Stability, Upgrades, and Best Practices Adoption:

Qualifications:

  • 4–7 years of Jira Administration Experience:

Required Skills:

  • Strong Knowledge of Jira Workflows, Customization, and Automation:
  • Experience Supporting Scaled Agile/SAFe Programs:
  • Excellent Communication, Stakeholder Management, and Multitasking Skills:
  • Familiarity with Integrations, APIs, and Scripting:
