Job Title: AS400 Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of AS400 Tester. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in manual and automated testing, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The selected individual will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test cases for IBM i-based applications, performing thorough system integration and user acceptance testing, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with development teams to drive resolution and continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, candidates should have hands-on experience with SQL queries and demonstrate a deep understanding of Property & Casualty insurance domain expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute detailed test cases for IBM i-based applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing across functional and technical layers.
  • Conduct rigorous system integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and triage defects; collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Analyze test outcomes using cognitive and analytical techniques to drive improvements.
  • Ensure consistency and traceability across test environments and data sets.
