Job Title: AS400 Systems Developer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled AS400 developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of AS400 technology, including RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and deploy AS400 applications using RPGLE and CLLE programming languages.
  • Design and implement database solutions using DB2.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in various development phases.
  • Code complex CL programs and work on modular programming in ILE-RPG.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the development industry, with at least one complete life cycle of development on CLP/RPG/RPGLE.
  • Extensive knowledge of AS400 technology, including ILE, CLLE, and DB2.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Good English communication skills and experience working in a multicultural environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have experience in the insurance domain, particularly in life insurance, that would be an added advantage. Additionally, being able to work as part of a larger team to ensure satisfactory deliveries is essential. Self-motivation, flexibility, responsibility, and a desire for quality are also key qualities we look for in our team members.
