Technical Support Specialist

The primary objective of this position is to provide technical assistance to customers and equipment. This involves identifying, adjusting, repairing, or overhauling machinery from the EMT division such as wheeled loaders, excavators, dozers, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply theoretical knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to test and modify operational electrical machinery and control circuitry.
  • Operate machines for testing, inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
  • Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer's specifications.
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn parts with OEM spares and OEM-repaired parts.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance work on machines.
  • Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using relevant measuring devices.
  • Read, understand, and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.


Requirements:
  • Full-time degree or diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a reputable institution or university.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.


Preferred Skills:
  • Well-versed in hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems.
  • Demonstrated initiative to visualize, organize, manage, and complete assigned tasks in individual and group settings.
  • Self-motivated behavior, specifically in stressful situations.


Language Skills: Fluency in English (spoken and written), with additional languages considered an advantage.
