Academic Leader for STEM Education

We are seeking an experienced Academic Leader to spearhead our capacity-building programs in Teacher Education. This role will involve designing and implementing high-quality workshops, courses, and training programs for teachers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, curriculum development, and adult education. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, team members, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workshop and Course Development: Design and deliver engaging workshops and courses for teachers in STEM subjects, incorporating progressive pedagogical and adult learning methodologies.
  • Capacity Building Programs: Prepare program plans, provide inputs for academic calendars, and coordinate with subject teams for planning and execution.
  • Feedback Analysis: Analyze feedback from training participants and incorporate it into subsequent trainings.
  • Program Direction: Provide direction for STEM programs aligned with current educational policies and guidelines.

Experience and Qualifications:

We require a minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in capacity-building programs in Teacher Education. A Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry, along with a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.) or an equivalent qualification, is essential.
