Hotel Operations Manager Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our front desk team. This role is perfect for an experienced candidate who has worked in a similar capacity in 4/5 star hotels.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily operations, and ensuring that all guest services are delivered to the highest standard.

  • Manage front desk duties, including check-ins/outs, billing, answering phone calls, emails, and responding to inquiries.
  • Identify and rectify any lapses in Front Desk functions in real-time.
  • Administer front office functions on a daily basis, including implementation, continuous review, and improvement.
  • Fulfill additional duties as needed in case of absence or peak workload.
  • Monitor and oversee all guest services, including billing and recovery, tracking invoices and payments with the accounts team.
  • Recognize critical guests, VIP arrivals, meeting and greeting, and attending to guests as necessary.
  • Provide answers to day-to-day inquiries for short-term and long-term stays.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write professional emails and draft documents, presentations, etc.
  • Show a hospitality attitude and aptitude, customer-centric, effective in communication.
  • Display thorough organization and supervisory skills.
  • Show a natural ability to work as part of a team, with patience, negotiation skills, and good dispute/grievance resolution skills with all stakeholders.

A graduate or postgraduate degree in hotel management is preferred. The ideal candidate must have worked in 4/5 star hotels in a similar role for at least three to four years.
