Maintenance Engineer

Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support the smooth functioning of slurry handling operations.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of slurry pipeline operations and maintenance, including monitoring, controlling, and operating and maintaining slurry pumps with pressure ranging from 80 to 100 Bar.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and control slurry pipeline operations and maintenance to ensure efficient equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  2. Operate and maintain slurry pumps, including performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and pipelines to identify potential issues and take corrective action to prevent failures.
  4. Maintain accurate records of material movement and stock levels, ensuring data accuracy in the inventory management system.
  5. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  6. Implement and monitor safety standards for slurry handling in compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Mineral, or Metallurgy.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in maintenance engineering or a related field.
