About the Role

We are seeking a skilled GNC/Control Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced control systems for low-earth-orbit applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop operational modes of ADCS in Simulink based on requirements
  • Develop models for simulation execution across multiple environments, including Software-in-the-loop (SIL), virtualized hardware, or real Hardware-in-the-loop
  • Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews
  • Validate simulated results with HIL results or hardware setup responses
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  1. B.Tech./B.E. in aerospace engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering with 2+ years of experience
  2. Strong knowledge of control systems, MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++
  3. Fundamentals of control systems, including second-order system understanding, stability analysis, controller design, linear and non-linear systems, and modeling a conventional controller on a linear system
  4. A high appetite to learn new skills, languages, and tools
  5. The ability to identify and solve complex problems with a high degree of autonomy
Preferred Requirements

In addition to the above requirements, we prefer candidates with:

  1. Master's, M. Tech, or PhD in aerospace engineering, computer science/software engineering, or an engineering discipline
  2. Familiarity with system dynamics, PID control, and controller tuning
  3. Familiarity with Control theory and orbital mechanics
  4. Prior experience in satellite design or the space industry
  5. Familiarity with GNC algorithm unit testing and implementation in flight software
