You will architect and construct the core distributed systems that provide a robust, scalable foundation for graduating AI from interesting demos to indispensable products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create foundational backend services that meet stringent performance and reliability standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship through exemplary code, design documents, and thoughtful code reviews.
  • Tackle complex technical issues in distributed computing, large-scale data processing, and overall system architecture.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of designing and building complex, large-scale distributed systems.
  • Deep expertise in backend development including system architecture, data modeling, and API design.
  • A strong bias for action and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience with modern cloud and data infrastructure is essential.
