Optimize Data for Business Success

We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative data pipelines, infrastructure, and tools that power insights across our business.

This role involves designing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure, assembling and managing large datasets from diverse sources, automating and optimizing data processes for greater efficiency and scalability, and developing ETL workflows using SQL and cloud-based big data tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases, experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and data sets, and excellent analytical skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize distributed data pipelines, infrastructure, and tools.
  • Assemble and manage large datasets from diverse sources.
  • Automate and optimize data processes for greater efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop ETL workflows using SQL and cloud-based big data tools.
  • Build analytics tools to deliver insights into business performance.
  • Collaborate with executives, product managers, architects, and analysts to meet evolving data needs.
  • Ensure data systems are secure, reliable, and high-performing.

Requirements:

  • 2–7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases, with exposure to multiple database technologies.
  • Proven experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
  • Strong analytical skills, especially in handling unstructured datasets.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based big data services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
  • Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, DataStage, or Azure Data Factory.
  • Knowledge of stream-processing systems like Storm or Spark Streaming.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in cross-functional teams.
