Cloud Data Engineer

Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in data engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps? Do you thrive at the intersection of secure platform setup, cloud integration, and high-performance data pipeline development?

Responsibilities
  • Lead Snowflake platform setup, environment provisioning, RBAC, and resource optimization to ensure efficient and secure data management.
  • Architect scalable, secure infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Pulumi on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Build robust CI/CD pipelines and integrate with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps to streamline development workflows.
  • Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Airflow, or custom Python solutions to efficiently ingest and transform data from APIs, SaaS apps, and event streams.
  • Ensure data security, lineage tracking, and compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2 regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to drive enterprise-grade analytics and AI projects forward.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or platform operations.
  • 3+ years of deep Snowflake hands-on experience (performance, security, cost).
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, Terraform/YAML, and Git workflows.
  • Proven CI/CD and DevOps knowledge.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
