Key Role: LSF Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced LSF Architect to lead the development of CAD/EDA infrastructure for our global design teams.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of LSF architecture, advanced features such as license fair share and preemption, and experience with automation dashboards for resource utilization and system monitoring.

Responsibilities:
  • Define, architect, and implement advanced LSF features to optimize resource usage across worldwide teams.
  • Lead the transformation of CAD-Infrastructure LSF setup to enhance collaboration and productivity among global teams.
  • Design and implement development, testing, and production environments for LSF enhancement.
  • Automate key infrastructure processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Develop proactive monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance of systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, maintain, and enhance LSF and RTM solutions.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience with LSF and RTM deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments.
  • Strong expertise in Linux systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management.
  • Hands-on automation scripting skills (Perl, Python, Shell scripting).
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure (Linux, LAN/WAN).
  • Experience with version control tools (Perforce, Methodic) is a plus.
  • Understanding of EDA tools, license features, and use cases is highly desirable.
