Product Design Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Product Design Intern to join our design team. This internship offers an exceptional opportunity to be involved in the entire product development process, from concept to prototyping and production.

You will work closely with experienced designers and engineers to develop and refine product designs, ensuring they meet our high standards of functionality and aesthetics.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for innovative product design.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing new product concepts and refining design ideas.
  • Create 3D CAD models using industry-leading software.
  • Design high-quality visuals to showcase product features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing.
  • Conduct research on materials, ergonomics, and design trends to enhance product innovation.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar).
  • Strong sketching and visualization skills.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Fusion or Keyshot.
  • Basic knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping techniques.
