Product Engineering Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Product Engineering Leader to lead the development of new and emerging product lines. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate with senior leaders, product managers, developers, quality analysts, and infrastructure specialists to establish a robust product engineering process.

The ideal candidate will be reasonably hands-on and able to take charge of end-to-end product engineering requirements for multiple product lines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a product roadmap with strategy, product, and business teams, and driving execution.
  • Serving as a thought leader and mentor on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.
  • Identifying and deploying tools, frameworks, techniques, and processes to help product engineers work more efficiently and effectively.
  • Overseeing product development, testing, deployment, and maintenance within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensuring all non-functional requirements (NFRs) for products are met.
  • Contributing to the selection and hiring of product engineering team members.
  • Responsible for full-stack product development and release, including architecture, design, development, and testing within agreed timeframes.

We are looking for someone who is adaptable, innovative, and passionate about working together with a team to solve customer problems. Desired skills include:

  • Experience in software development companies.
  • Agile software development and management methods.
  • Off-the-shelf software components.
  • JavaScript, Typescript, React, Node.js, and service-oriented architecture.
  • RDBMS (preferably MySQL), NoSQL databases, observability tools, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications: BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree with 12-20 years of relevant experience. Job Location: Chennai (Work From Office).
