Job Title: Digital Circuit Designer Intern

We're a globally-distributed team at the forefront of cloud computing, revolutionizing high-performance computing with Virtual FPGA technology and Kubernetes.

This isn't a typical internship where you'll be siloed on a minor task. You'll be a core part of our engineering team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Working closely with our founding engineers, you will:

  • Develop and maintain critical components of the static shell for our Virtual FPGA technology.
  • Architect and implement high-performance cybersecurity applications that push the boundaries of what's possible on our platform.
  • Collaborate on system design, performance analysis, and integration in a constantly evolving codebase.
  • Embrace the full development lifecycle, quickly moving from concept and design to implementation and real-world deployment.

You'll gain deep knowledge of FPGA virtualization, hands-on experience in developing sophisticated applications, direct mentorship from industry veterans, and expertise in collaborating within a distributed team.

Basics Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in digital circuit design, particularly with AMD/Xilinx FPGAs.
  • Proficiency in Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP).
  • Programming skills in C/C++.
  • Familiarity with software/hardware development in a Linux environment and Git for version control.

Preferred Skills:

  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience with AMD/Xilinx Versal devices.
  • Experience with Dynamic Function eXchange (DFX).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes.
  • Experience with High-Level Synthesis (HLS)
  • Experience with advanced networking technologies (RDMA, DPDK).
