Job Title: Senior Physical Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Physical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of physical designs for complex digital circuits.

Your expertise in netlist-to-GDSII implementation, including floor planning, placement, CTS, routing, STA, power integrity analysis, and physical verification will be crucial in delivering high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development of physical designs for complex digital circuits, ensuring they meet performance, power, and area (PPA) requirements.
  2. Develop and maintain deep knowledge of physical design methodologies, including sub-micron technology nodes, such as 28nm and lower.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate physical designs into the overall system architecture.
  4. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in physical design.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. 7+ years of experience in physical design engineering, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  2. Strong understanding of netlist-to-GDSII implementation, including floor planning, placement, CTS, routing, STA, power integrity analysis, and physical verification.
  3. Hands-on experience with Synopsys/Cadence tools, such as Innovus, ICC2, Primetime, PT-PX, and Calibre.
  4. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment.
