Internal Audit Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our internal audit function. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker who can drive risk management, ensure the effectiveness of internal controls, and foster a culture of integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive internal audit strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of financial, operational, and compliance audits.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the internal audit team.
  • Identify and assess areas of financial and operational risk.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with management to implement and monitor risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and applicable statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards, and assess their impact on business practices.
  • Present audit findings, insights, and actionable recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.
  • Develop and deliver periodic audit reports and dashboards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing audit team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and transparency.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure control across operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
  • MBA in Finance or equivalent degree preferred.
  • 5 to 12 years of progressive experience in internal auditing within a healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record in risk management, financial auditing, and governance.
  • Experience managing and developing audit teams.
