Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned commercial banking expert to take on the role of advisory consultant, providing strategic insights and domain expertise across commercial banking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor in commercial banking engagements, including client implementations, solution design, and process improvements.
  • Translate complex banking processes into actionable insights and business requirements for operations teams.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, such as process reengineering, automation, and workflow orchestration, in client banking operations.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery.
  • Stay current with regulatory trends, market shifts, and technology innovations in the banking sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in commercial banking, with exposure to areas like corporate lending, trade finance, cash & payments, risk & compliance, and client onboarding.
  • Previous experience in consulting, transformation, or solution architect role is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, systems, and compliance/regulatory environment.
  • Understanding of digital banking trends, banking platforms, automation, analytics, and FinTech collaboration models is an added advantage.
  • Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations, capability decks, and process views.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in management, or related field.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Global banks.
  • Global exposure to banking regulations and practices.
