Closure Door Trim Design Leader

We are seeking an experienced Closure Door Trim Design Leader to lead the engineering design, technical development, and delivery of interior components for new or ongoing programs.

This role is ideal for professionals looking to take on leadership responsibilities in door trim design and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commodity plans to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery of interior components.
  • Manage change requests, expenditure forecasting, and supplier teams to support program milestones.
  • Plan and execute design verification test plans, including detailed testing stages and sign-off.
  • Collaborate with A-surface teams, component packaging, and vehicle attribute teams to develop designs meeting vehicle targets.

Essential Requirements:

  • Leadership experience in resolving business, technical, and process issues within a project team environment.
  • Knowledge of product creation, delivery, change control, and product definition processes.
  • Understanding of automotive body cabin systems, materials, design rules, and testing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Catia V5/V6/TCE/Digibuck.
  • Experience in using CATIA V5 & V6, Enovia, Teamcenter Engineering (TCE), and Part release process.
  • Strong engineering knowledge of defined components/systems design, function, performance, production, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering.
