Airport Operations Specialist

As a key member of the airport operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless airport systems and application functionality. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing top-notch support for crew, ground, departure control, turn-around, baggage, and loading systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer expert assistance with airport systems and applications, encompassing crew management, ground handling, departure control, baggage tracking, and load optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and Departure Control Systems (DCS) to manage reservations, passenger check-ins, boarding processes, baggage handling, and load coordination.
  • Schedule, track, and optimize the efficient utilization of crew resources using advanced crew systems.
  • Maintain and operate automated baggage handling systems to ensure smooth airport operations.
  • Identify and document incidents or problems using incident management and problem-solving tools.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field with relevant travel experience.
  • IATA certification or a Diploma in Travel and Tourism is highly desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of the airline industry and its operational dynamics.
  • Flexibility to work in 24/7 shifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard desktop applications.
  • Analytical and research capabilities.
  • Troubleshooting and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to meet stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
