Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie - South Indian Cuisine to join our team at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for supervising the assigned station/section of the outlet kitchen, ensuring the preparation of high-quality products and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards.
  • Supervise the assigned station/section of the outlet kitchen, ensuring the preparation of high-quality products.
  • Provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a courteous, professional, and flexible experience.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and occupational health and safety.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of kitchen production and management practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience as Chef de Partie or 3-4 years as Demi Chef de Partie/Commis in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards.
  • Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management is an advantage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards is essential.
  • Basic computer skills in MS Office and Recipe Maintenance System are preferred.
