Job Description

As a seasoned Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete administration of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) on a strong foundation of Tenancy, Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), Compartments, Network Layers, and advanced security protocols.

  • Manage OCI infrastructure-administration including installation, configuration, migrations, tuning, patching, administration, and monitoring to ensure high availability of infrastructure.
  • Design, implement, and manage Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and for managing OCI Infrastructure.
  • Optimize performance, hardware upgrades, and resource allocation to guarantee maximum efficiency of infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provisioning storage, compute nodes, network, and understanding requirements for the same.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions, virtual machines/networks, hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, cloud monitoring, logging, and local and cloud storage.
  • Handle Certificate renewals on OCI and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Understand and design High Availability (HA) architecture in an OCI environment.
  • Migrate experience and usage of migration tools and perform cost optimization analysis.

Credentials:

  • Certified OCI Architect Associate/Professional (Mandatory).
  • Certified OCI Migration and Integration Specialist (Preferred).
  • Certified OCI Security Associate/Professional (Preferred).
