Job Title : JD 47_ IT Software Quality Analyst

Department : Product & Engineering

Location : Kolkata (In office)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and reporting bugs and glitches, and must have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Involvement with the quality assurance stage of product development and delivery
  • Develop test plans to ensure team deliverables meet business requirements defined in tasks
  • Perform test plan review when appropriate to ensure consistent understanding of business requirements between PMs, QA, and developers
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure existing systems are not breaking due to fixes given to resolve bugs
  • Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure products created by developers match client requirements
  • Find bugs and root causes within products before deployment to production environment
  • Work with integration team to test APIs and provide feedback to developers for quality delivery
  • Work closely with key stakeholders of products to improve quality
  • Design test cases for new features, bugs, and identify gaps in systems to deliver quality and seamless products to end-users
  • Align with automation team to bridge gaps in shared TCs, update TCs on regular basis

Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Basic QA knowledge on manual testing
  • Knowledge of software Agile methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Basic knowledge in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Prior project experience of testing mobile apps and web-based applications will be an added advantage
  • Basic knowledge on API testing is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of writing SQL queries and debugging
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to run through fast-paced environments
