Job Title: VP - Site Reliability Engineering Join Our SRE Team as a Strategic Leader

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. As a key member of our Group SRE team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's SRE strategy and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and Implement SRE Strategy: Help drive operational efficiency and service quality by defining and implementing a comprehensive SRE strategy.
  • Promote Automation Culture: Foster a culture of automation by reducing toil and developing methodologies for automation and process elimination.
  • Develop Strategies for Efficiency: Identify inefficient processes and develop strategies for improving reliability.
  • Establish Service Level Objectives: Work with stakeholders to establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and monitoring strategies.
  • Conduct Capacity Planning and Chaos Engineering: Conduct capacity planning, chaos engineering exercises, and lead architectural reviews for reliability.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on SRE Experience: 5+ years of experience in SRE roles.
  • Technical Skills: Practical experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives, operating to Error Budgets, and implementing monitoring and observability technologies.
  • Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure as Code: Experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, configuration management solutions, and software development lifecycle methodologies.
