Site Reliability Engineering Leadership

We are seeking a seasoned executive to join our team as Vice President of Site Reliability Engineering. This role requires 12+ years of experience in defining, driving, and implementing SRE strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement SRE strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Promote an "Automate-first" culture in operating services, reducing toil and enhancing efficiency.
  • Design and implement methodologies for identifying and automating inefficient processes.
  • Assist in developing engineering and operational service metrics with actionable plans to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality/SLA, and optimize delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement SLOs for critical services.
  • Define monitoring strategies with Engineering and implement appropriate capabilities.
  • Lead architectural reviews for reliability and conduct capacity planning.
  • Perform chaos engineering exercises to ensure system resilience.
  • Drive continuous improvement from incidents and contribute to the Test and Deployment processes.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience as an SRE practitioner with 5+ years working experience in SRE roles.
  • Practical experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives and operating to Error Budgets.
  • Experience implementing and operating monitoring and observability technologies for enterprise-grade production systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and GitOps is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of production support processes.
