Software Development Opportunity

This role offers an exciting career challenge for a skilled software engineer to develop innovative solutions.

You will be working within a feature team, collaborating with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform. Your extensive experience in software engineering, design and architecture will enable you to engineer and maintain high-performance, secure and robust software solutions.

In this position, you will:

  • Develop complex software rapidly and of high quality that adds value to the business
  • Collaborate to optimise software engineering capability
  • Design, produce, test and implement working code

You will need:

  • A background in software engineering, design, architecture and understanding of how your area of expertise supports customers
  • Proficiency in Java technology with strong understanding in microservice architecture, Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem modules
  • Strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms like AWS, GCP and their services like S3, Lambda, Kubernetes
  • Experience of working with development & testing tools, bug tracking tools and wikis
  • Experience in multiple programming languages or Low Code toolsets

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance
  • A background in solving highly complex, analytical and numerical problems
